Provide technical support and follow-up care.
Information Sharing & Third Parties We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We only share data with trusted service providers necessary to operate our business:
Square: For appointment booking and secure payment processing.
Google Workspace: For secure email communication and data storage.
Third-Party Links: Our website may contain links to external sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third-party websites.
Cookies & Tracking This website is hosted by Google Sites and may use "cookies" to enhance user experience. You can choose to set your web browser to refuse cookies, though some parts of the site may not function properly as a result.
Data Security We take reasonable measures to protect your information. Contact details are stored securely in Google Workspace, and all credit card transactions are processed through Square using industry-standard encryption. We do not store your credit card information locally.
Children’s Privacy Our services are not directed at individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Service Rates & Billing
Hourly Rate: $80 per hour.
First Hour Minimum (Includes Travel):
Edwardsville - 10 miles: $100
10 - 20 miles: $120
20 - 30 miles: $140
30 - 40 miles: $160
40 - 50 miles: $180
Increments: Time beyond the first hour is billed in 15-minute increments ($20 per increment).
Cancellation Policy Appointments must be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance. We reserve the right to charge the first-hour minimum for cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice.
Payment & Refund Policy
Labor: Due to the nature of in-home technical labor, all service fees are non-refundable once the service has been performed.
Service Guarantee: We stand by our work. If you are unsatisfied with the quality of the service provided, please contact us within 48 hours, and we will work with you to make it right.
Equipment Returns: Any hardware or equipment purchased through Golden Era Tech is subject to a 15-day return window. To be eligible for a return, equipment must be in its original condition and packaging.
Uninstalls: Please note that if a piece of equipment is returned, the labor for uninstallation is not included. Standard hourly rates apply for any requested removal or reconfiguration of hardware.
Methods: Full payment is due upon completion of service. We accept all major credit cards through Square.
Limitation of Liability While Golden Era Tech strives to provide expert technical assistance, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to data loss or hardware failure during or after the provision of services. It is the client's responsibility to ensure important data is backed up prior to service.
Governing Law These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois.
